How GaN FETs Work in Class D

• • High-Speed Switching: GaN transistors switch significantly faster (often well into the megahertz range) and cleaner than standard silicon transistors. [1, 2]
  • Cleaner Waveforms: The extreme speed allows the amplifier to reconstruct the audio waveform with far less dead-time distortion and cleaner pulse-width modulation (PWM). [1]
