Four Seater Convertible

I forgot the BMW 6 series (650 and M6). Very nice and elegant. Another good option. But, it drives a little heavy. Depends what you are looking for in a car.

^^^ Bargain, but you'd no longer be the Audioshark if you put that in your garage. Next you'll be wanting a yellow one too! Plus all of the carbon fibre bits and that torque screw driver set from Amazon! :roflmao:

Steve.......That's supposed to be funny? It's totally lost on the majority of AS members, with only a small group who understand your dig. It appears you revel in carrying old baggage. I have corresponded with you on forums for a number of years and consider you an intelligent individual so I must ask what positive results can possibly come from continuing to beat a dead horse? This is beneath you. We get it, there is someone you don't hold in high regard. Fine, but who else do you think cares? Set yourself free and leave this baggage behind you.

Pretty bad ass...must give this a try...my only reservation is that I had a 2004 M3 and compared to my Porsche I owned previously, it drove like "Dad's sedan".

I tell ya MIke, all ya got with a Bimmer is a car that's drops in value so fast. Now if it were me, and since the wife and I are classic muscle car people, I get a restored 60 -67 vette. The one below is a 66/427, 435hp. They only go up in value

Nice Chris! Love old Vette's. Not a fan of the new ones to be honest....I keep thinking "was the designer only allowed to use a straight ruler?"

Mike,

i have an M4 - not the convertible. Love the car. The convertible is a bit heavy - adds 400 pounds for the convertible hard top. The S5 is a nice option if you can find one. The Mercedes E550 is another good option. Both accommodate 4 and under $100K. For short rides and a blast to drive the BMW 235M convertible has plenty of pep but space is somewhat limited in the rear.

Yes, that's my issue with the M4 as well- it adds 400lbs which takes away the driving dynamics on what is a pretty large vehicle to begin with. The M235i vert might be the perfect idea as the smaller chassis lends itself to better handling. I am looking at trading my S5 coupe for an M235 or upcoming M2...still haven't figured out which one. My car's 3950lbs is just too much for me in the SoCal canyons. Its a great daily driver though.

If it's a fun convertible that seats 4 that you want, then the Mini is the most fun. Especially for the money. You should test drive one. It doesn't have the finesse or speed of say a BMW or Audi convertible, but much more fun to drive.

Who of you drove a M4 convertible ?
Is a fun car and handles very nice . Is not as good as mine but very close.
Mike does not mention anywhere that He wants to drive like Senna, just a fun car for the family.

Darrin,

Absolutely beautiful. Congratulations to the wife.

Gorgeous Darrin! My Porsche was the best car I ever owned.

Which model is that?

Thanks, Guys. It is the 2015 Targa 4S. Red interior with white exterior is stunning. Perfect for my gal.
