As a conversation piece, it's impressive. As an audiophile component, (speakers integrated into turntable) definitely not.

I don't think ClearAudio, VPI, AMG, SME, Oracle, or any of other serious turntable manufacturers have anything to worry about.

Personally, I'd rather own a new Monaco Grand Prix Audio 1.5 turntable with a Tri-Planar tonearm. :P

That's a neat and gimmicky idea for the new to vinyl crowd finding vinyl for the first time nowadays.

Good for the designers that came up with something original.

Sound quality?.....who knows and not sure the target audience will care.

That's for young apartment dwellers. If it lets them play grandpa's vinyl and then they get into the whole thing, then it's a winner.

Gee, the bloody thing cost $400., I would hope all the TTs you mention would sound better.

Please tell me what new TT you can buy for $400. that comes with a cartridge, powered speakers and a headphone amp that sounds better?

BTW, their Kickstarter raised $1,575,976.
