Mike already knows how special these amps sound. I had an idea but was not prepared for what I was about to hear. They weigh a ton and fit and finish is superb. They feel like they are each one solid block of granite. To say that I am happy in an understatement. I loved my LM-219IA but these seem to take it to the next level.

I am losing sleep again. Big, huge, 3D sound stage with vocals to die for - a breathy wetness to voices that is unbelievable. Details with wrap around sound that has me turning my head to look behind me thinking something is there. They beg me to turn the volume up.

It's almost 4am again and way past my bedtime. One song leads to another, which leads to the sun coming up. There's magic in those big beautiful bottles.

I have only heard these in the shows with AZ and they have always sounded phenomenal to my ears - very refined, big 3d image that floats in the outer space and a terrific liquid midrange.

Congrats Joe!

Can't stop asking - what preamp are you using with them ? are the BHK 300 monos comparable ?

Congrats Joe! They sound like wonderful amps. What speakers are you driving with them? Would the 845's be sufficient to drive mid-80 sensitivity monitors?

I'm using the Wyred STP-SE and am amazed at how great this preamp is, excllent. There's no contest. The Triodes kill just about everything. Totally different sound and if you can live with 40-50 wpc, you will be in heaven.

Fantastic Joe ... another winner in the lineup!

Thank you. I have a permanent smile.

Awesome Joe

Thank you Chris.

Congrats Joe! Let us know when you try the 211's.

OMG! I have replacement 6SN7-SE's and 12AU7's to try as well.

It might be a struggle, maybe Mike would have a better answer. I am sure the peaks will be tough to push out easily.

What speakers? I think they would be fine with a 2 way at 87db or better unless your room is big.

wow! wow!

super! looks like lots of electricity in there, be careful! ha!

who made those stands? great!

I LOVE my triode TRX 88PP amp from MIke.

have fun! bob

You are a patient man thats for sure.

They are one of my all time fav's.. Congrats!

Thank you guys. I had second thoughts but worked through it.

The stands are industrial moving dollies and are the perfect size.

Do these amps have a tube rectifier or SS? I don't see a tube rectifier.

Hi Mark,

I do not believe there is a tube rectifier but there is another 845 as a driver. I don't understand how/why that's used in there. I am assuming SS rectification.

There is also a switch to use either 845's or 211's as the output tubes.

Congratulations Joe, i also have these with the Acoustic Zen Crescendo MK2s.
No Pre

Hi Brett,

Thank you so much. They are unique amps and the 211/845 tubes give an amazing performance, big and ballsy yet delicate - so unlike KT120/150's. I bet the Acoustic Zen match with them is awesome too.

Congrats Joe [emoji106]

How do these compare to the Lampi 211s you have (had at one point...not sure if you still have them as can't see signature line when viewing from iPhone)?

Hi Cyril,

I have to be honest, the Triodes are much better. They don't run as hot, have a bigger and ballsier SET sound, there's more detail without being harsh, more of a wrap around sound, vocals are amazing and they are more flexible. I love them.
