These two 4 disc compilations from Varese Sarabande have some outstanding tracks from soundtracks. With so many you will have a few duds too.

The third of the Varese Sarabande Celebration discs has some excellent recordings on it. It is a worthy addition to this fine collection of movie tracks.

Lol Andre, good one! ...And you're right; I got that Blu and some passages in it have some tremendous rolling bass! :satisfying: - The flick itself ain't my cup of tea though.

I've noticed a trend in my listening habits over the last few years.. I like and listen to most types of music, with possible exception of hip-hop or the like.
I continue to listen to music from Rock to Classical, but the mix has changed, and I must say I'm listening to far more Soundtrack recordings than I ever have.

Thanks for all the great titles so far, many I have, many I don't... (awaiting delivery today of the first few ordered...from Amazon)

Just a few of my favorites, although it's hard to pick just a few:

Got that one Allen, on digital CD; luv it! ...Hans Zimmer and Lisa Gerrard makes for a great combination.
...And they also both together contributed on other motion picture soundtracks.

Ridley Scott is big on both of them; Hans and Lisa. ...Hans loves powerful bass (me too), and Lisa has one of the most lovely/powerful voice to listen to with deep emotion.

Good to know, Bob. Which Ridley Scott movies feature Zimmer and Gerrard? Interested in giving it a listen.

Yeah, I got the CDs (motion picture soundtracks) of the three movie titles mentioned from my above last paragraph's post.
...And all of them movies of course (eight titles), on Blu. ...Hi-res audio.

Ahhhh so I bought this recording, thanks!! ..but NO metadata for this recording found on the internet! crapO. I hate entering this stuff.
Oh well. I think we need a rule that all recordings recommended on AS need to have associated metadata available. :lol:
