Mike interesting "Appointment Only" you might have to inform your secretary at your real job, that you are relocating to your second job to run both businesses, I think you are going to be rather busy the first 2 or 3 months

Putting together chairs and racks today.
Mike,
Make sure you keep lots of extra carpet tiles for when spikes cause havoc.
I couldn't put "when my wife gets grumpy, you'll find me here."
Was too long. [emoji6]

Just a thought. And sorry Mike, but does Brick and Mortar mean - Not by appointment only (the expected store hours) or does it mean not at my home?
I think as we (audio shop owners) grow sometimes a regular store makes more sense 9especially for our wives!). But what is a regular store? I think things are starting to get blurred.
. These aren't "drive by and buy" products as you know.

You may be surprised...that is exactly how I bought my first high end speakers...
Taking my bike for a run & rode past a store I had not been to...
Did a uturn...parked the bike ....walked in & listen to an expensive pair of speakers...
Loved them...rode home...sold the bike & bought the speakers...
I do miss the VFR 800 Honda though...
I'll probably be there a lot - like 20-30 hours a week, but unless you think someone is going to drive by and say to themselves, "hmmmm, today I feel like buying some Q7's", than it's by appointment only. If I sold TV's, Bose and that kind of stuff, regular hours would make sense. I live 3 minutes from the store as well.
In order to give the customer the demo they asked for, it also takes a little time to prepare. If I've got the M3's set up with Vitus and the client wants to come and hear S3 mk2's with VAC, I want to get everything setup for a proper demo. An appointment allows me to do this. These aren't "drive by and buy" products as you know.
But as I said, I think I will be there A LOT and at the end of the day, I'm so glad to be out of the house and in a proper retail environment. Already the interest from manufacturers, distributors and most importantly customers, has sky rocketed. I'm looking forward to hosting manufacturer sponsored events and more.
