the owner of that T1 (who's PS is pictured) visited me last month.

a power supply is what it is. Esoteric has a standard 'Grandioso' chassis width and style. the extra space inside the chassis is not for lack of execution for the product.

its a TT, it does not need a lot of current, large caps, large transformer, heat sinks, etc, nothing shocking about this

Agreed,...just needs a high quality linear regulated power supply for each connection.

In this video starting at 00:02:48.00, there is a good look at the external power supply for the Esoteric Grandioso C1X preamp as well as the primary chassis of the C1X as well.

Like the Grandioso P1, P1X and K1X, there is a lot more in those power supply units!

In this video starting at 00:02:48.00, there is a good look at the external power supply for the Esoteric Grandioso C1X preamp as well as the primary chassis of the C1X as well.

It leads me to wonder what sacrifices were made with C1X solo to make all the C1X bits fit in a single chassis.
