Esoteric announces new model Grandioso N1 network player

I have Sigma-X XLRs coming with the N1 so I hope they make a difference!

EDIT: I should add that I currently use ESLA between my E-02 phono stage and the C1X Solo with an Atlas Asimi XLR cable. It sounds great but I haven't compared it to anything else.

If I might be bold and suggest, cancel the Sigma-X XLR's and instead buy the Waversa. The Waversa will take the N1 to the next performance level. The Sigma-X will not.

What ESLA brings to the party is the money you save on interconnects can be spent elsewhere, or stowed in your pocket. Halcro also has the current mode interconnect option. There is no point me running an 8m Shunyata Sigma RCA between the Halcro pre-amp and power amp, it's money pee'd into the wind. Shunyata Gamma will do equally as well at a fraction of the price. Now, as for that Waversa I mentioned, that is like a speaker upgrade. What it brings to the party will blow your audiophile mind.
 
You might be right but the paranoid/completionist in me would feel like something's missing if I didn't use a high quality interconnect so I'll leave it as is.
