Enjoyment of pure Music at Mikes Home!

I will swing by DR on my way to Barbados.

mike most of your stuff isnt even fully broke in yet is it?? id imagine with the whole package fully broke in that there wouldnt be many better sounding rooms anywhere. and dont mind those solid state guys wanting the bass thatll knock your hat off. the tubes keep it real!!! lmao!!!!

Thank you Steve. I would say most of my stuff is broken in, save for a cable or two. I'm looking forward to adding the tube traps tomorrow and some Stillpoints down the road. But after that - music, music, music.

Now....the downstairs system....that will stay in flux for a while! :)

One of these winters I'll stop shoveling 100+" of snow and spend a couple weeks where the sun is warm and the drinks have umbrellas in them. Sarasota sounds like it could work out just fine!

You're welcome any time Doug.

Howard, as long as the usb has it's own power, at least that was our findings down here last weekend.

Mike, it's always a warm fuzzy & great to here your guests wax lyrical, you have some great gear & now the room & isolation are definitely paying off by the sounds of things, congrats.

+1. A great example of how a system, including, if not especially the room, should be done.

I'm one of those that likes tight, musical bass at levels appropriate to everything else. Loose cannon bass and thump drive me absolutely bonkers....can't take it. I wish my room was treatable, but there is no place to even put a trap! It's like a round room without actually being round! Like the engineer who analyzed it for me said, "nightmareish room, but at least you'll save money because there is precious little you could do here. The best thing you could do is move."
