I was chatting with Ed’s son a couple of days ago and was told that Ed had a new unique idea to try on their amps. From what I’m told, it was a MAJOR improvement to the sound. Not sure about timing, but there could be another upgrade coming to the app line.

... my dream amps.. someday maybe.

I just picked up the NS1 so Ill get a taste of what EMM has to offer compared to so many other streamers I have owned. Now the amps are even out of my reach at 85 and 130. They really do need to bring an offering at the 15-30 mark.

I’d LOVE a pair of the MTRX amps, and could afford the cost.. however they require dedicated lines for each of the amps. I’ve done so much construction on my house, I don’t want to open up my ceiling again for a new set of wires. I’d strongly consider the MTRX2, which should be more than enough power.

I have the amps in my place and I am not using dedicated lines for each amp. Amadeus was here at my opening. I have no doubt that if you can power the Brystons you can power an MTRS or a pair of MTRX v2

It was very cool reading Florians comments on the EMM gear that he is now using in his showroom. I think this is a very underrated product and they are very low key. It is a excellent brand, with great people and you can listen for yourself as to the results with Clarysis or any other top line speaker

I had a few people that came back from Axpona call me and again tell me how great the EMM gear sounded at the show. We had a great result at Capfest and now this maybe some will start to notice that these are truly great sounding products.

Got the EMM Pre i today and set it up and have it playing.
Right out of the box one can tell the difference and I look forward to giving it a few days to settle in.
THe system likes it as does the VR-30's

I've been hearing great things about EMM lately.

I feel that all I need to really take my system to the next level is the Wadax SP and the Emm Stereo amp. Oh, and $100K to pay for these..
Seriously, they would be top choices for upgrading.

i have the monos and pre i, what i can say, lots of power, the sound flows so easily, neutral and very natural and dynamic and transparency, scary transparency! I have changed the Kimber that comes with the monos with a better cable and it is a major step up.

I wander who else makes cables for EMM and Boulder amps?, I have seen only Transparent

EMM does provide a good power cord fort all their components however there is a whole world of different ones to try and I too believe that if you look you can find something you might like better. I did try a few on the mono's and my stereo amp.
We will be using them again at CAPFEST this year.

are the cables you used made by a known brand? or self made? I had to use my favorite power cords, but change the female connector from the Kimber cable that came with the Emm. Not sure if that is the way to go, better than Kimber, but it is DIY cable now)
