I was wondering what was going on. I thought it was a computer issue on my end.
I don't know about this. On one hand it doesn't seem right to me. On the other, it should not be a big deal.
For those of us with memory issues not being able to edit one of our own posts after 30 minutes can be problematic, but mostly for grammatical reasons perhaps.
I also don't know what the problem is with seeing the word "deleted" from someone leaving the forums and deleting all their posts. I don't even see how one could have done so in the first place if they had hundreds or thousands of posts (it must have taken hours or days to do it). I mean, they are gone, their decision, so what? If it was a bunch of fighting and such, why dredge up all that again or obsess over it by re-reading their posts over and over after the fact?
Perhaps deleting the account of the person who leaves voluntarily or otherwise and having everything they posted disappear would be good? I don't know if there are any legal ramifications to that or not though or if that option is even available in the software or program.
I don't know, maybe I'm missing something?
