The Tesla Model S, owing to its low centre of gravity is the sharpest breaking, best handling road car on the market. It is also the fastest - or thereabouts - from 0 - 60mph.The batteries last longer than the Prius as well (based on the Roadster).
Tesla is full electric, unlike the hybrid Prius, which my wife owns…thus range is like 150miles between charges.I heard that 30mins high current charging gives a 80% "fill up".
Tesla is in most ways the better car.
None of this detracts from your main point….mp3 is indeed king.
I was looking for a new car 3 weeks ago and took a very close look the Tesla.....came away with the determination that it is not ready for the world we live in as it is now. Bought a Porsche instead...glad of it. Maybe some day, but not now.

Too much of a station car with its limited range?I was looking for a new car 3 weeks ago and took a very close look the Tesla.....came away with the determination that it is not ready for the world we live in as it is now. Bought a Porsche instead...glad of it. Maybe some day, but not now.
Might as well throw in which is better, blondes or redheads (no offense to brunettes)
Mark.......You may assume whatever you wish. It's what everyone does anyway. My age has nothing to do with it. I have never allowed any woman to have that kind of power over me where she thinks she can tell me what to do, try to control my behavior, or for that matter where I can sleep other than my own bed. I love my woman. She's a wonderful gal but I don't cower to her about anything. If you empower women with control over you, then you get what they choose to dish. Groveling isn't my cup of tea. Being close to whatever has never been an issue, either. I make no apologies for who I am, nor should I have to.
Stringreen,
As I understand, you was looking for dynamic car as first priority?
Just wait until you have three with two being under the age of 3. Male bluster goes out the window.....![]()
Geardaddy.......It may be bluster at your home but at my home and in my life it is the real deal. Being subservient to any woman is not in my DNA.
As for kids, have all you want, populate the world with lovely children. I have none and could not be happier with that life choice.
Porsche has been at or near the top of JDPower initial and long-term quality surveys for the last several years.Congrads on your new Porche.

I've always thought marraige was a partnership? There is a happy medium. I know some guys that have given total control of their lives to their wives. At the other extreme are guys with the attitude of "It's my way or the highway." Those type don't normally stay married long unless their wife is a doormat.
