I do have the paid version got hifi quality. Iam not saying it's bad but my system is too revealing and you can hear that the dynamics aren't there.

But the Tidal full subscription @ lossless should be no more compressed than the exact same content on a cd.

I don't say no, but do a lystening test side to side and see what you think.
