Does your sound system include a tuner?

No tuner in my system. But if I would want one I'd go for the tuner reference of all times: the Metric from Restek.

I am not sure if it was sold in the US. The company Restek is still active and has several tuners in its portfolio.

The tuner in question is designed by Mr. Reinhard Wieschhoff-van Rijn. He is a legendary tuner designer who first worked for Fisher radio in New York and later designed tuners for Klein & Hummel, Revox and Restek.

Glareskin.......Thanks for posting the information on Restek. That Klein & Hummel FM2002 tuner looks very nice, too. The FM2002 looks to be a classic FM tuner in the true sense of the word.

Have I got a tuner? Yes!!

I don't listen to a whole lot of broadcast radio, though, just a couple of stations occasionally. More often today I listen to Internet radio.

My tuner is a very decent vintage Denon TU 767, circa 1985.

For many years I had an elegant Denon TU 500, circa 1978, but sold it for a fair chunk of change and bought the TU 767 for a small fraction of that.
