I know there are several on this site that are rockin' these speakers but the longer I own them and the more hours I get on them the more impressed I get.

I now have about 800 hours on my pair and they keep getting better.
I really can't believe the value these speakers represent.

Recently I have had the pleasure to listen to a couple of wonderful systems with much more expensive speakers installed.
Truth is, I would not trade my 0/96's for either of the two system's I have heard recently. They are just so transparent, neutral and with Shindo just an effortless and real presentation.

A true audio gem and a bargain in the sometimes overpriced and overhyped audio world.

Thank you John for creating this amazing monkey.

Congrats JJ! So happy you love them.

+1

They keep getting great reviews and like you said, are a tremendous value in a world of uber-expensive gear. Beautiful too.

Me too. Unfortunately, the only time I've seen one, it was in static display... They look even better in person, though!

They sound amazing. I have been fortunate to spend time with Dale (Katoomer) and have had a few chances to hear his witn both digital and vinyl. They are truly fantastic sounding speakers. They are real lookers. Everything John Devore builds have a fit and finish second to none.

The fit and finish is second to none. Top notch. I can't say enough good things about them.

Only the styling is what is growing on me.

Chris- Congrats on your purchase of the A23 Homage 755's. Cheers - Don

I have a set and love them. I expected something more along the lines of a British speaker sound but was pleasantly surprised by the clarity, coherence and extension.

And they are truly beautiful with woodworking that is near art studio quality.

Also they are relatively smaller than I expected from the photos - a good thing.

They are on my short list and even the "management" here thought they looked great when I showed her the pictures of them. They sound like they could be a great solution.

i been trying to avoid these just because i didnt like the attitude of the guy who was running the shop i saw them at, but i keep hearing such good things about them, and they are right where i need a pair of speakers to be(efficient, not enormous, and musical).and everyone who has them loves them. i think i need to test a pair of these out soon. damn , i didnt want to spend that kind of money, but if they are right they are right.

When I first got them the wife was not happy with the looks. They replaced a Sonus Faber speaker three times the price.
Fortunately my wife listens to music with me and loves the sound from these. A couple of months ago she even commented how nice the wood finish was. Good sound has a way of growing on you.
Personally, I love the look of the 0/96's.

yes the box speaker has grown on me lately, did not like it at all before and since im a wood working type of guy the finish is really nice. damn i better start saving.

Very excited to hear these in a few weeks and compare to my Zus- i love the look btw and they really arent big in person.

Though have to admit an MDF cabinet gives me pause...although this type of speaker is intentionally desgned to have cabinet resonance.

Did you ever listen to the 0/93s? I am considering moving on from my Zu Essences.

Bones- yes, I did have an O96 audition at a local dealer. They were a little subdued and restrained for my taste. If you like the Zu sound, I would upgrade your Essences to a Druid V or Definition- a huge upgrade imo. They are more coherent loudspeakers with a smoother top end (thanks to the Radian tweet)

I do have another speaker coming in house for an audition this weekend- the Evolution Acoustics MicroOnes (since the MicroTwos have not been released). After 4.5 years, I haven't been persuaded to move from Zu, but will see.
