Creative gear photos - post 'em here

These are a couple of EL84-based SEPs I built up for fun.

The input tube is an EF86. They make about 3.5 Watts at full power. I wanted to see how small I could actually make them. If I had it do do over I'd go with a slightly larger set of chassis.
Very nice. I always loved the simple retro look on tube amps.

I agree looks like that chassis is a bit tight.

I really did want to see how small I could make it. Its actually got a choke filtered power supply inside...

The constraints were such I had to do some of the wiring on the Voltage amplifier socket prior to installing it. It was tight. But there are no layout problems- the amps are very stable and quiet. If I were to do it again I'd not only use a slightly larger chassis but also a slightly larger power transformer- to get that extra Watt or two :)
