Couple Pass Xs reviews

I truly believe that either the Xs pre or the XP-30 will compliment the Xs amps. I can't wait to hear the combo. Actually, I am afraid to hear the combo. I trust your ears.

I had the XP-30 in my system for almost a year and it is has tremendous smoothness and ease, outstanding dynamics, an ultra low noise floor and is very neutral. I totally agree with Mike's comment of just a hint of sweetness. Combined with the warmth of the XA-100.5 and XA-100.8, it was the perfect synergistic match with these amps.

It's been a while but the two most noticeable improvements of the Xs pre over the XP30 in my system were an even quieter noise floor and better micro-dynamics. The Xs was also, to me, more delicate sounding allowing an ability to hear all the nuance and different intensities of a given note/chord/instrument. I recall thinking that it really was a huge improvement.

I'm feeling the Pass love :).
 
I love this quote from the Robert Youman's Pass XS Positive Feedback review:

"If you are looking for wow factor, these amplifiers have it in spades. The only other time I had this kind of reaction was with the Sonus Faber Stradivari speakers and that's saying a lot."

How about the two together? :)
