It’s smoother and sweeter than my CJ ART monos and the SIT5’s. It has great bass grip and dynamics due to the SMPS. It doesn’t weigh a lot —> 55 pounds. Definitely plays to its power rating too. Overall? REALLY impressed.

I’ll report back after I get more hours on it. But so far the first two nights of listening have been 👍👍

Stupid question maybe.

Is this amp Class D? I am sorry, I don’t really know the power supply tech/jargon. The weight suggests it doesn’t have miles of copper in a toroidal transformer…

Nope nope, class AB, but it has a SMPS, like Soulution.

Interesting. Must contain new tech to address any issues with SMPS or it would seemed to have been done by everybody long ago. Weight savings alone is a huge benefit. I would also guess they are cheaper than miles if copper wire…

Yes, I carried the amp up the stairs by myself - torn rotator cuff and all. Speaking of that….surgery or something soon.
