Wow! I have tickets to see Ricky Lee Jones and Mark Knopfler this year and I thought I was doing well. Your list is incredible.

Nice list, bonzo! I have a subscription at the NY Philharmonic this year again. This past season we saw about 8-10 performances, but thought that was too much. This year, we are down to 4 performances for the season. As part of the NY Phil's Rachmaninoff festival, we are going to see the wunder kind Trifonov which will be fun.:audiophile:

Steve Earle in Sept at Toronto's Massey Hall
Melody Gardot in Oct at Town Hall in NYC

On our recent trip to London, we attended two concerts that Bonzo did. We pack in the concerts when we are in London, almost all classical - 20 in 22 days (including a few with 2 concerts in one day). We do about 50 others when we're back home in in the Bay Area. Some of the highlights starting in the fall will be a rare jazz concert - Wynton Marsalis with an ensemble from Lincoln Center. We're also seeing Dudamel conducting his Simon Bolivar Symphony Orchestra. Our friend violist Gerry Walther will be coming for a couple of concerts with her Takacs Quartet. The American soprano Renee Fleming is doing a recital. Both the St. Louis Symphony and Montreal Symphony are visiting. One interesting performer is the fine violinist Leila Josefowicz, whom we first saw 31 years ago when she and our daughter were both participating in a summer Suzuki Violin workshop in San Francisco. Josefowicz was 6 years old and was already playing one of the Bach violin concerti, while our daughter at age five was playing "Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star."

Though they weren't strictly concerts, we saw the new musical "An American in Paris" based on the movie with music by the Gershwins and the revival of "King and I" with Kelli O'Hara who won a Tony for her role, both on Broadway two weeks ago.
