Clean power is the key to reducing the digital edge

Kev. Which planet are you live in ? I'm sure we not live in the same planet lol

Hey Paul, over here in Australia my last power bill for 3 months was AUD$1200 , so I put solar panels on the roof, what I don't use goes into the grid. To further this renewable energy/power & get the most from it I can get a bank of rechargeable batteries in a cabinet to store the energy for use at night, that puts the national power grid on standby. With dedicated lines to the music room, I will be done with conditioning ;)

That's battery power to the extreme! :fingers:

I expect mine to be delivered early next week. Just found a review of the P10 in HifiNews and it seems to be a very interesting device.

You will love it ~! Please keep us posted.

I say clean power matters very much. That's why I chose the BPT BP-3.5 Signature Plus w/Teflon V-Caps that provides 20A RMS/60A Clean Balanced Peak Power. This unit is extremely good for pushing the noise floor down a 1000 fathoms. Nothing worse than grungy utility power and your own powered devices that also induce noise into the household power.

Clean power makes all the difference for digital and analog. I have been absolutely amazed at how much detail I have coaxed out of my modest gear by adding a dedicated 20 amp circuit, use Shunyata power cords on everything, and a Shunyata Triton power conditioner. It was as if I bought all new gear it was such an obvious improvement. My feeling now is that power is the foundation of a system, and once the foundation is solid then you can start building the rest of the system.

When I had the dedicated circuit added for the two channel system I also had one added for the HT. I then upgraded the power cable feeding the Panamax with a Shunyata Ztron Cobra. Just that one cable took the audio, and video, to the next level. I was really surprised to see the video from the Oppo 93 improve just by upgrading the main power cable. My next upgrade for the HT is the new Shunyata Hydra AV, a Ztron Python for the main cable, and move the Cobra to the Sunfire amp. This should really elevate that system.

Just the other day we had a power flicker for a split second which cause the kitchen appliances like oven, micro and fridge to reset. I looked into the listening room to check out on my audio equipment and all was fine like nothing had happen with the power. It’s just amazing how well the BPT balanced power units perform. I say they are worth their weight in gold.
