Clarisys Setup Vienna

Nice setup. Hope Florian has a good show.

PS - Tough room to get good sound with all that glass.

I was just thinking the same thing. I wonder how much rolling those electric shades down would help..

Regardless, that is one mind-blowing setup.

The room is actually very good. The glass is massively thick; its like a normal wall. The ceiling is an acoustic ceiling. We bought carpets; and i brought all my acoustic modules. Very good RT60 times; and a nice -5db smooth 22Hz to 21KHz response; which of course some deaf reviewers didnt hear. Go figure :-) Trust me on this, when i do a Clarisys Setup; i leave nothing to chance. Except for the Aries equipment, all of this stuff is my own and i brought close to 6 metric tons.

The nice piece is that it was an incredible show and we didnt suffer from the horrible acoustic from the main event with their paper walls and sound leakage. The amps were Aries Cerat Vulcans, which are very nice by the way. We had save limits on the amps; next year we will increase those a bit. Stavros and i had a great time and very cool exchanges.

Tom Martin, owner of TAS and HiFi + gave us two best of show awards; one for the Aria Setup and another one for the Auditorium setup. I love that; because he doesnt get free equipment and is not bribed like Harley and Valin. So it actually means something to me.

By all reports, it was outstanding sound. Florian, can you talk a little about the building Clarisys was in with all the other manufacturers and what it means for the future?
