choosing speakers to replace Devialet Phantom - need your advice

Norman - A pair of Sopra 1's would be perfect!

yes
or even better , Focal Diablo
i listen to them with Focal Sub in CES show few years ago (i'm not sure what amp they use , they hide it)
in Hotel room , around the size of my room.
it was fantastic.

or without add Sub , maybe Magico S1
small speakers , but with deep bass

Have you heard the active Dynaudio XD's. The XD 600 is a small non ported floor stander that is supposed to go down to 20hz. They sounded nice at Axpona although they played nothing that went to 20hz. The XD 200 and 400 (they have rear ports) were static displays at the show. They are a digital speaker that can be run with or with cables (wireless is an option). Then maybe get something like a Naim Unitiserve for a source which is digital out and controlled with an Ipad or Iphone.

Hey Pelo, take look at these babies: Solo6 BE
Great sound with amps built-in. Connect a nice Linn streamer and you are set for your bedroom!

that's a very nice solution , speakers with built in amp !
i think think model discontinued , old model
i have Lumia A1 , i never use it because it's too complicate to install.

i think Linn not popular in USA , any other brand?
i will need also a DAC?

fantastic
my only concern it's the bass
Freq. response: 80Hz-50kHz
50khz it's amazing on high
but 8hz for low , it's very weak bass , right?

Yes, definitely. I think Focal Sopra 1's may just fit the bill.

i red review of Sub:
JL Audio e110/e112$1700/$1900Before he got the hefty little e110 with 10"driver (the e112 comes with a 12" woof),
JV was anything but a fan of subwoofers, which always seemed to take more awayin midrange transparency, tone color, andresolution than they paid back in bass-rangeextension, detail, and power.
Crossed overat the right frequency—which is easy to dowith the instructions that JLAudio providesand manifold built-in controls—
the e110 is thevery first sub he’s heard that doesn’t screwup the sound of the main speaker.
Rather itseemed to extend that sound into the bottomoctaves, producing the highest low-levelresolution of bass timbres and textures fromany transducer of his experience.
Paired withsomething like a Raidho D-1 stand-mountit will give you everything (save for overallimpact) that you pay the big,
big money for ina massive multiway floorstander, and it will doso for a mere $1700. JV, 244

stupid question: how a sub can be plug to stereo system?
i have Pass Labs XP-10 Pre , i don't see there any Sub Pre out , etc.

For seamless integration, I recommend a product like DEQX.

You want subs in a master bedroom? The Devialet can handle sub integration.

yes

exactly like you recommend Mike , D-1

so i need to find a Pre Amp or integrated with SUB out?
i thought about Hegel 160 or 360 , i'm not sure how can plug Sub there

Once again - Devialet - it has sub-integration capabilities.

To integrate a sub into a given system without using an active crossover (I think that's what you're asking for), you need to have an unused set of pre-out jacks or sub-out. You then connect those to the sub inputs. Some subs support either RCA or XLR inputs, so they could connect to either type of output jacks which are available. If your pre-amp (or integrated with pre-out jacks) only have one pair of outputs, then you can use a pair of y-jacks to provide the additional needed pair of jacks from the outputs. Of course there will always be some impact of adding an additional adapter into the circuit, so y-jacks of suitable quality should be used to minimize any negative impact.
