I'll be at CES next week. If there is anything specific anyone wants me to check out, let me know!

I'm really excited to see the new Bryston amps, check out the new VAC amps, talk to the folks at Lumin about the new...oops...stay tuned and so much more!

How how about some booth babes, and demo dolls, pictures this year. :)

Or has that been declared PC unacceptable for vendors?

It'll be nice if you could get more info on the TechDas Air Force III turntable... availability, price, etc. I can see one in my future. Unfortunately, I have to travel for work so I will not be able to attend.

I'll check it out. Is the Kronos Pro on your radar? Mine arrived last week. Can't wait to set it up.

Congrats Mike , its a beauty and the build quality is off the charts, though you'll find the Manual......interesting

Congrats on your Kronos. Looking forward to your impressions. Louis (and I) HIGHLY recommend the ZYX Universe Premium.

Re: Ces 2016

well, in that case Mike, it'll be a breeze ... lucky you. I hear you on the ZYX , may pursue that at some stage. Now that I've adjusted up the arm, planning to use either an XV1-t or the Olympos carts to really test drive this baby. Enjoy!! It's a great table

If we can have luck with the weather on his end, Louis is flying in tomorrow to spend New Year's Eve with me and my family and together we will tackle setting up the Kronos Pro on Friday (me watching and learning, him doing!)

Congrats Mike!

Looking forward to your impressions. Assuming your version will have the newer motor tech, etc. that have been incorporated in his recent improved design.

Re: Ces 2016

I don't see much if any talk about Theta products around here but something I'm curious about is when the CBIVa and CBE are coming out. They were both announced I believe at last year's CES and so far dead silence for these products. They had also planned on releasing a 8x2 HDMI card but that hasn't materialized yet but I can understand the issues in implementing that as their suppliers HDMI board is a horizontal straight 10 across HDMI card, not stacked so there is no slot available in the CB back panel design for it. Finally it would be nice to find out how close they are at implementing Dirac at 192/24 and thus upgrading the internal processing of the CB platform to run at 192/24 as well.

Mike: Check out the new Dagostino Progression Mono amps. I understand they're being demoed with Eggleston Works speakers. A bit too rich for my blood at $36k, but interesting nonetheless. Thanks!
