My idea of roughing it is when the air conditioner breaks.

No air conditioner needed this weekend Mark....lows in the high 40's and highs around 76. Our weather is fine.

I like camping as long as there's a bar and a restaurant on the premise, and room service if I'm not in the mood to go out. .

City Slicker! LOL

Actually Dan, we have plenty of "bar" (you've not met my friends or I) and also "restaurant" (you've not met my wife who is a fine gourmet) on the premise. I've not pressed my luck, but room service might be possible too :D

Mike.......You have no idea. As an electrical contractor whose company had long term projects all across the U.S.A., I was on the road almost continuously for 20 years. I have spent more years in travel trailers, 5th wheels, and motor homes, literally, in one campground after another all across the country for more years than I care to remember. After a track record like that, a nice hotel with a quiet bar, a decent restaurant, and a room with an ocean or mountain view is far more attractive to me. No setting up, no tearing down, no dealing with the idiots on the highway that hate you for impeding their progress or blocking their view of the road ahead. Now all I want to do is arrive in comfort, stay in comfort, and leave relaxed and happy. I don't camp anymore.

This was a 38' Holiday Rambler 5th wheel travel trailer, one of several campers I towed around the country between projects.

We were at Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park Camp-Resort in Madison, Florida with one of our daughter and grandson this past week.

Look from our motorhome.
