Better than the D3 for sure. More open sound. Tweeter is more refined. Bass is coming along too. Great speaker.

Indeed, the 802D3 has more presence, sounding more open, especially in the so important midrange, than the current 802D4. The soundquality of my 802D3 rises to the occasion, driven by my Bryston 14B3 poweramp, Ps Audio DSD and Grimm MU1 server/streamer. Therefore I plan to keep my 802 D3,s.
