Yes, great pics and great systems.

However, with a HUGE IMO - Over half are not set up anywhere close to hearing what the system potential really is. In that area, a large waste of money.

One more time - IMO.

Jim - I shutter to think what you have witnessed when you first walk in the door of people's rooms.

I love this room...

I don't like the giant rack of gear in the middle (I would have that off to the side or much lower in height), but otherwise, gorgeous.

Not just placement but holy Toledo some of those rooms have total reflective surfaces.

I am glad others have spoken up. I was biting my tongue (figuratively). The majority of the rooms are colossally tragic setups. Too much equipment and speakers that are too large and not positioned for anything other than aesthetics or due to space limitations.

I cringe when I see speakers stuffed into corners because there is no space for them. And worse, some are lined up perfectly with the front of the equipment rack because that is aesthetically pleasing.

My setup is far from ideal but I have limited room. Most mortals have space restrictions. What I do have is the sense to pick more appropriate speakers and place them away from the side walls and wall behind them. I recognize there are a few speakers designed for corners.

The excesses in this hobby make me want to vomit. That is what I see in those pictures, not something to celebrate. :(

Oh...I wonder what Jim would say about this one:

These speakers are on fire!
