Oh yes, I’ve had the 40’s at home and these are at least twice the size. I have the my original L100’s In my family room with my Pioneer SX-1280. Last night I hooked up my old Marantz 2270. I was seriously worried something would start smoking as it’s been sitting in a box in the garage. Nope, listened for 3 hours straight. The old girl sounded quite good. These old receivers aren’t meant for modern speaker cables, although I did talk to AudioQuest and they quite oddly make a connector for vintage receivers, so I ordered some Rocket 44’s with my reward points. For a brief second, I thought they might be Harbeth. Hi Mike = Did you ever try the CJ ART88 with your CJ amps?
I didn’t. I wanted to, but I got the GAT2 and ART monos for such a good price. Currently using the GAT2 with the new Constellation Revelation 2 amp. What an amp!Hi Mike = Did you ever try the CJ ART88 with your CJ amps?
Must be a big slice of SQ HeavenI didn’t. I wanted to, but I got the GAT2 and ART monos for such a good price. Currently using the GAT2 with the new Constellation Revelation 2 amp. What an amp!
Yes, it’s excellent.Must be a big slice of SQ HeavenI had my GAT2 for several years, loved it and had little interest in making a change until I got to hear the ART88 in my system. More of everything, texture, rich tonality, space between instruments. I hope you get to "play" with it at some point. As an appreciator of CJ I trust you'd really enjoy what it delivers...
