Terrific amp Mike! This is one of my favorite ARC amps. Yes, the design has been somewhat polarizing but, sound wise, this is a fantastic amplifier.

Any specific reason for discontinuation by your knowledge? How would you compare it vs. REF150? Anyhow IMHO amazing looking amp with those rain wipers :heart:

ARC amps really have come a long ways since the GS and SE models released. Glad to hear yet another positive report. Def not the whitish, ss ARC of old

Umm, thanks alot Mike — just when I was thinking I my system is ‘sound’ for a while, needing only some tweeks and power cord upgrades, you go and post about the GS150. Now I’ll be walking around the holiday weekend with a GS150 chubby! Dammit!

I have owned more ARC gear than I care to name. IMHO, the GS150 is their best product ever produced, yes even better than the REF10. I was one of the first to take delivery of a GS150 and when I went bananas over it I took lots of criticism, until people started to hear it on their own, until HiFi+ came out with their mindblowing review. My recommendation is to anyone considering a tube 150 watt stereo amp, get one of these. They are amazing.
