My wife was never a Grills Off Gal so I set them up with grills on. Last night I took them off. While we were sitting there listening, she commented that they even look great without the grills. We can do it both ways.

They look good both ways but as an old Toolmaker, I like to see the machined parts and the drivers look cool too.
