Another Balanced Golden Gate

So the Balanced Golden Gate is receiving great feedback in our room. Certainly the best sound overall by an overwhelming majority.

Spent some time yesterday with Lukasz, Fred and Robert. Great bunch a guys that are very passionate about their products, as it should be. All accolades well deserved!!
How is your unit breaking in now Bruce. I think you have 3 weeks now, correct?

Bill what about your week old unit?

Hi Norman,

I have been ultra busy all week in Paris and elsewhere so not had chance to really explore the golden gate yet but I will be all weekend. Of the very short listen (not broken in), there is an obvious increase in resolution, even more fluid soundstage and realism I have not heard before on digital.

I am going to write a full report on my experience in due course - will share it here.

Great feedback alright and for those with not much time jump to 10.45 to 12.52 in the timeline and then the wrap up at 27.10 to 27.50 for Lampi discussions.
Interesting that all comments focused on the Jeff Rowland Solid State amplification with the Golden Gate.
Lets wait and see what the feedback is from the team with the Lampi Amplification.

I moved from big Art Audio Maestro Mono block amplification this year on the Big7 to Classe CA2200 Solid State amplification and I have really enjoyed the change.
Cheers, Pearse.

I can definitely say it's the best DSD I've heard in the studio. Without side by side comparisons, I can't say it's the best PCM I've heard. The best so far was the MSB Diamond, but from recollection, It's at least as good as the MSB Diamond. Now that's saying something!
Definitely a keeper. Lukasz is a genius!!

Yes, he is. The Lampizator dacs are stunning.

Back from RMAF!! Thank-you Lukasz and the whole Lampizator family!

I have my GG hooked up to my 1625 tube based amps. The Wells Audio distributor may want to come over with a potential customer to demo the Wells Audio amp on my speakers for a buyer (who also is looking into my speakers). I have never used a solid state amp on the Exoticas other than NCores, and well, I am selling my NCores. The 1625s killed them. I guess I love distortion.

So Wells Audio is making a tube amp? That's news.
Can you point to more info, please?
