My neck is sore. The bumper has "dropped" a few inches. Back is scratched. Trailer hitch is scratched. Otherwise....that's why I drive a truck!

Thank God is wasn't worse for you. Glad you're OK overall.

Good thing my speakers weren't in the bed too. :P

Mike.......Texting would be my guess.

Sorry to hear of this accident. Don't overlook the soreness in your neck. See a doctor, then let your lawyer do the negotiating on your behalf.

Dan - since there was no squealing of tires, my guess was texting too.

Hi Mike,

So sorry to hear that you were rear ended. Glad to see your truck didn't sustain too much damage. I hope your neck feels better soon. Make sure to have it checked by an Orthopedist.

Best,
Ken

Mike, please see a doctor ASAP.

To everyone: please get disability insurance, be sure to get insured for as much replacement income that is available.

Nope, I don't sell insurance.

Mike-If you went to see an ambulance chaser, you would already be in a neck brace, back brace, and possibly walking with a cane. Your sex life would be greatly disrupted due to the pain and suffering you are going through, your business will be impacted because you can't lift the packages you need to lift which caused you to bear additional expenses hiring other people to lift, unpack, and set up your gear. The list goes on...

Mike, good thing you're feeling ok aside from the sore neck, but I agree with the others that it might be worthwhile to get it checked out.

So I called my Doctor first thing. They said, "we won't touch auto accidents". I asked why and they said "that means third party claims and we won't do third party claims." They told me to go to the county clinic.
So I call the insurance company to get a referral. They said "we need a day or two to get the claim processed."

Now I know why people call the ambulance chasers first thing. Such BS.

Under the last revision of the Florida Law you have to have the medical exam within 14 days and it is better if the exam is not done by your family doctor. An independent party like the Health Dept. or a Walk-In Center looks better to the court. Also the other drivers insurance company down the road can also require another independant exam.
