I am just starting to write this & a thought struck me. Wow, I wonder how good these will get when I have some serious hours on them? You see I only have 10 hours on these cables & I can honestly say the following to be my findings.
The cables are the Shunyata Ztron Anaconda interconnects & speaker cables. The power cables are the Shunyata Ztron Cobra. usb cable at this point is W/World Platinum from macbook to dac & the jumpers on my speakers are custom made solid silver with silver bananas. In the future as the moment grabs me all will be swapped for the equivalent Anaconda cable. Yes I like them that much!
The Anacondas have replaced W/World Platinum i/c's & speaker cables of which I think are a great cable but not in the same post code as the Anacondas in my system.
I have noticed more separation around voice & instruments, no overemphasis of any part of the recordings, very realistic voicing of sound with a tone that is in the warmer side from neutral. How Shunyata has done the above with the amount of detail that these cables let through is nothing short of amazing. I would rate the Ztron Anacondas as one of bargains in cables as they were designed with this in mind, to go toe to toe with all the cables on offer & still compete at any level. For some they are not cheap at all, but for those that have applied the Ztron Anacondas to their system, I'm guessing about now they are the smug consumer Recommended highly!

Kev - great to hear about your Shunyata cables. They are certainly great. Once you get a Lumin, you will want to add the Shunyata Alpha Digital power cord. Amazing!

Do you have a cable cooker? I found that 100 hours on the cable cooker was ideal for my Shunyata cables.

I use this cooker: audiodharma Cable Cooker? - Cable Conditioner | audio excellence az

You need to look at some of the extra adapters to make sure you're covered. I bought four of the AC cable adapters for example.

Hi Kev,

That's wonderful. Please tell Jim they are more analog sounding so he can jump off the roof. :)

I'm saving up for cables and cords. Shunyata is on top of my list.

Mike, no, not a fan of the cable cookers although it does make sense.

Joe, ha, good call.

Kev, as you can see in my list of gear, I love my Shunyata cables !!

Mark, when I was considering new cables I did indeed start to notice how many people were using Shunyata. I have heard the loom before but never in a direct live-in comparison to the WW Plats.

Great. You are going to be very happy. By getting the Anacondas, and other Shunyata cables, you are building a foundation for the rest of your stereo. Now you can upgrade any piece of gear and know it will work at its best right from the start. Until Shunyata comes out with an even better cable, you will not have to ever change cables again, because these cables let the gear sound as it was designed. This means if you do not like the sound then the problem is the gear, not the cables.

FYI. I also have all Zitron Anaconda XLR ICs, and Z Anaconda speaker cables, along with all Ztron power cables, a Triton, and a Cyclops in my stereo. The HT is also heavily biased with Shunyata cables.

Glad you're enjoying the new cables Kev. I have a few of their lesser priced PC's in my system and love them. Can't imagine what the Ztron series is like. :exciting:

Congrats

Shunyata is bar none the best value in cables.

They will continue to get better for the next 500 hours or so. The best is yet to come.

The new Alpha line in power cords is Shunyata's best sound values. Just outstanding.

Bud, i recall your thread on Shunyata. Thanks for the well wishes & Paul, that pic is a referral to when Jim/Still-One said in a Lumin thread "If one more person says it sounds like analog I'll jump off the roof :D

I just got in my Anaconda power cord. I had one on my amplifier already. Have a Shunyata Triton, which had a Python power cord. I upgraded the Python to Anaconda. Sorry to say, it's a noticeable improvement (sorry for my wallet!) Much more authority in the low end. Very impressive. Next stop, a Typhon.

Nice! Look forward to your impressions, being a Triton owner myself.
