I'm not familiar with the needs of the Max. My favorite auditions of Wilson in general was Doshi and after that Audio Research with 160M amps.

I use a Boulder with my Wilson's. I wouldn't change.

Constellation would get my vote.

I vote for the Constellation only due to personal association. No experience with the new Constellation SMPS versions.

Would need more recent listening to agree , heard WA with DAG many many times , not a fan, maybe it’s different 3 yrs later ..!

Prefer VAC to any of those tube amps , i would do Boulder over DAG for sure , pre amp of choice would make the difference for locked in sound ..!

You had opportunity to listen Wilson with VAC? how was that combo? I have never seen Wilson pairing with VAC at any shows or Wilson owners using this combo.

Also What was difference between Boulder vs. Dag with Wilson?
