WOOOOWWWW!

Super inspiring photo - nice!!!!

Spent about two and a half hours at Paul's place today listening to both Shindo and Tenor amp's with the Tannoy Westminsters. Both amp's were auditioned with a Shindo Giscours preamp.

Needless to say a wonderful afternoon of truly beautiful music. Paul has a great library of a diverse selection of cd's and sacd's. As you can see by a previous post he is about to take the plunge into the vinyl world. Once you get into this league you just have to do it. Way to go. I will be there to assist any time you need it.

As this is Paul's thread I will hold back my personal observations on todays session until he has had a chance to fully audition both amp's this weekend. Although we have discussed the listening experience today I want him to form an opinion based on what really matters, some alone time with the gear.

Thanks for a great afternoon and if you want me to post my impressions before you make a decision I will, but in the end do what makes you smile. Happy listening this weekend.

It was great to see you again and thanks for effort to visit this crazy Friday traffic.

Please feel free to post impression and I would love to hear it. At AS we are all free to say what ever you want. So please do so :)

Paul, I'm interested in your Linn LP12 set up to the Giscours. Cartridge>step up>Giscours phono section. My LP12SE has a low power cartridge, but not as low as the Giscours mc transformers are looking for. So the MC inputs in the Giscours have way too much gain for my cartridge. I use an Auditorium23 and I also use a Bob's 1131CineMag Blue and connect to the Giscours' mm input. Its just wonderful. No noise, no tube rush, The A23 and Bob's each add a different flavor and energy. With the right signal to the Guiscours, the rest should fall in place nicely... Simple, high quality, Musicality, pleasure off the chartl

Get the Shindo some clean music to play and let it flow through the Tannoys like they were meant to be.
