Well said, Michael. Now, there are two sides to this hubbub that has been festering for far too long on this forum. Both have their heels dug in.

In the spirit of the 2026 Positivity Tour, can we all at this very moment agree drop the back-and-forth bickering that has led to this? It really doesn't matter how much either side thinks they're right. The truth, as is often the case, probably exists somewhere in between the two sides. Anybody who has followed the thread with interest surely has an opinion on the matter, and I highly doubt that further hammering between the combatants will change their minds.

Michael, if you are the first one to "officially" let it go, maybe the others will follow your lead. Maybe not. But for the sake of everyone who is part of this community, isn't it at least worth a try? To be clear, I am not asking anyone to abandon their position. Just to stop the animus that exists on this thread.

Thanks for considering my request, and Happy 2026 Positivity Tour! It already pulled away from the station, but right here is where it starts picking up steam!

We should be coming here to enjoy this great hobby.

I for one welcome the opportunity to focus on that and not our personal disagreements.

The only question I saw from JCS was addressed to the Greek Geek not you:

yea, I saw that, he didn't mention me, dunno if I missed it on this thread or another but I have nothing to hide, be glad to answer any questions before im put under the "spotlight"

mep is correct. I made the request specifically to Michael, and I haven't mentioned you in this or any other thread.

My hope is that we can tone down the animosity that has (in my opinion) ruined this thread. I simply requested that Michael take the lead.

Don't worry - regardless of whether others decide to follow suite or continue on as they have, I am certainly in agreement with your suggestion and will follow through on my part.

I will stick to the topic on this post - WBF.

Your post is a noble effort to see who genuinely wants civility and who really craves the anger and animosity.

I'm on board with you. Now let's see if others step up as well.
