A Kharma Christmas

Hey Mike how about bringing the DB11 to the FAE if you still have them?

I’ll be doing MBL Xtreme II, Vivid G1 Spirits, Kharma S7-S.

No room for the 11’s I’m afraid.

Wow, that’s exciting! I would love to listen to the new MBL X-Treme II.

Wait so the MBL’s will be there .? Fantastic ..!!

Oh yes. The amount of work that’s gone into just getting enough power to that room was monumental! People on the third floor and above will likely see their lights dimming. :)

Thanks Sujay. I have the Kharma speakers in my main listening room and Vivid G3 S2’s in my family room (with more NAIM). Their sound is similar in some respects and quite different in others. The Vivid’s tweeter is just amazing across the entire line. The Kharma tweeters, especially the diamond are also excellent. Mark feels, and I agree, that the beryllium tweeter in the Essence line for Kharma tops the Salon 2 tweeter. The vivid’s do a disappearing act like no other. The Kharma’s have bass weight and a beautiful dense sound and they are oh so musical. The Vivid’s are FAST with super tight bass and engaging.

My wife absolutely loves the Vivid’s. She loves the sound, but more than that, she loves the look. I’ve mentioned a few times about bringing something else home to try and I got the death stare. Better leave that system alone. On the other side, she hasn’t bothered to come look or listen to my new speakers. She said, “why bother? They’ll just be gone in a few weeks.” LMAO. After 28 years of marriage, she may know me huh? I sure hope that’s not the case and I doubt it will be. Even though they are small, the Midi’s are HEAVY.

Big +1. And I owned the Revel Salon 2 as well. Amazing tweeter on the Kharma Elegance line among many great things.

Ditto. I owned the Salon 2s as well. Agree on the the tweeter musical magic of the Kharmas.

Mike,

Even though most visitors say the sound here in my RoomPlay Reference room is the best they ever heard, as a favor to you, for a limited time, I am willing to trade you even - your DB-11s for my Fyne 703s.

Hmmm…as tempting as that is, I think I’ll pass. [emoji6]
