I have another duplicate rack, but not sure how I want to place everything. I have room to the right where I can setup the racks and get the equipment out from between the speakers. I still want to be able to swap gear around.

The Duo XD are my only speakers now (they are THAT good!). Everything but a few Klipsch bookshelf speakers are gone.

whoa! b-e-a-u-t-i-f-u-l system!

one of these days i am going to have to try the AG speakers - but, only in orange.

Hi Joe,

I would say, get a long pair of interconnects and go for it. Congrats on finding your dream speakers!

Congrats Joe, go where your ears take you.

What happened to the D’Agostino monos, guess not the right gear for AGs?

Thank you.

I bet the D'Ags would have been great on the Duo. :(

Cool! :hey:
It must be wonderful to find what we were looking for over and over years.
I´m still triyng and I´m "envy" of that feeling! :(

Enjoy!

I too like the orange color, adds pop.

I’m on the fence for moving the equipment to the side supporting SQ, honestly I like to look at the gear when listening, anyway, your decision, enjoy in great health!

Only problem with moving gear is that I have some balanced gear and some single ended. I don't want long RCAs but I should have adequate length speaker cables. I'm going to think about what gear is most important and focus on that.

The orange does draw a little attention to itself but when the lights are low or the blue glow from the McIntosh meters washes over them, they look black. Weird what light and color does when it mixes.

Thank you gentlemen.

I can’t believe it. I’d rotate speakers like crazy and gear would come and go.

Since the Duo XD took center stage, everything just changed. I didn’t really believe Mike, but I knew from some of my Klipsch and JBL experience, I was headed for the Avantgarde speaker sound. I didn’t fully understand what they were about until the first few notes.

It was like a bright lightbulb above my head. The box the sound comes out of just completely disappears with Avantgarde. It’s not like you minimize it by bracing the heck out of it, or incorporate the sound of the enclosure into what comes out.

It’s just GONE and the musicians are in front of you. Like holograms.

Awesome.

Wow! Looking fabulous, Joe! [emoji521]
Coming from you who has experienced so many speakers, it speaks volumes about AG.
