9 incredible people + a very long day = three big installs

Many Thanks Mike for the Pass / Magico System install. It's sounding wonderful at 2:41 AM in the morning. :audiophile:

My wife is looking forward to moving the equipment around a bit so she can see the blue Pass Lab dials from our seating positions. I told her we'd have to wait just a wee bit as the amps are just a little heavy ... From what I can tell the system is breaking in nicely.

Thanks again.

Again and again....you always do a great job, Mike. I'm no longer surprised. Like Joe said: "I'm so proud of Mike."

Congrats!! the S250 drives the MBL's well?

and your wife sounds amazing!!

My wife is terrific, thank you!

Yes, the DAG S250 (500 W @ 4 ohms) has plenty of power to drive the 101s to very loud levels in a very clean manner. Our room is 15’ X 20’ X 10.5’ which is large enough for the speakers to work and not so large that massive power is needed to drive the speakers. Turns out DAG electronics work amazingly well with them.

Mike (Ritmo),

You have an awesome wife! Mike told me what she did and I was ecstatic for you. I’m so happy that everything worked out great and you love the sound of the MBL speakers. I’m sure the D’Agostino’s are an amazing combo on them. Enjoy in great health.

She is fabulous Joe. I’m truly blessed to have her as my partner in life.

I continue to be impressed by the flexibility of DAG electronics. They did a great job with the Wilson Alexias. Also, Mike and I connected my S250 to the Avantgarde Two’s at the store with great success (my other contenders were the AG Two’s). And, now, doing a fabulous job with the MBLs.

Oops, I guess I did not read far enough down the thread.

Thx Buddy!

Really enjoying the new speakers. Long story but my wife worked out the deal with Mike. I had no idea until yesterday morning when she asked me to call Mike to coordinate a delivery.

They sound amazing in our room. And, the DAG pre and amp are a great match the 101s.

Hi Mike,

Congratulations on your new 101E Mk2’s! What a wonderful Christmas present to receive!!! I’ve listened to these speakers several times and they have an amazingly lifelike soundstage, ballsy bass and some of the most natural and relaxed midrange and treble I’ve ever heard. They are one of my top 3 favorite speakers under $100K.

Enjoy my friend!
Ken

Hi Jim,

The 101E Mk2’s might be the ideal match with your Momentum’s without breaking the bank and they could still work in your current listening room. If I was starting from scratch the 101E Mk2’s would be at the top of my very short list.

Best,
Ken

Santa (and Mrs. Santa) did fantastic to all for sure! Nice job Mike. Very happy for how things are coming along for you and especially happy for the receivers of these amazing Christmas presents!

If that’s not a part of Holiday cheer, I’m not sure what is!

Great job!

Congratulations to the owners of those three amazing systems. I'm sure all of you are currently living on "cloud 9".

I don't imaging there are many dealers that would undertake three installations in one day. I have not done business with Mike but, I would think he has to be one of the best in the business for customer satisfaction.

Thanks Brad. It’s really just the way everyone’s schedules could work. I knew it would be a long day, but like everyone else, it’s nice to have your new toys for Christmas.

Customer first. What a refreshing idea in this day and age! Forget opening a west coast store in the Bay area. San Diego!!!!! (Not that that would be the least bit self-serving )

I was going to like this, but then I saw San Diego :)... How about half way in between SF and LA... the Central Coast is an amazing place....

I’ve had many requests to open multiple stores in different locations. Sadly, I’m just one guy! The store, the show, two kids, etc. really take up all the time I have. I have a few more ideas in the oven, but nothing fully baked yet. I doubt another retail store in a different location will be one of them, but I guess I have to say “never say never”. But I do appreciate the flattering suggestion. [emoji3590] I sure have an amazing team. I tell them repeatedly, I can’t do what I do, without them.

It’s been such a treat witnessing your success with the forum and Suncoast progress over time, Mike. While we love seeing pics of the shop and installs, we all know the work it must take behind the scenes is incredible, to say the least. You and your team (at Suncoast and here at the forum) should all be proud. And I am definitely excited to see what else you have cookin’ back there.
