REFERENCE TWO

Mono Block Power Amplifiers

The Best of the Best:
Canary Audio is proud to introduce the all new Reference Two Mono Block amplifier, the first of a whole new series of high end reference audio products. This amplifier is the result of over 15 years of experience.

Built to Withstand the Power of Music:
The REFERENCE TWO is a mono blocks amplifier with the use or sixteen (eight matched pairs) 300B triode tubes in a push pull parallel circuit. Like all of our other amplifiers, only the highest quality parts and components are used. The oversize custom wound power and output transformers are specially designed to extend the bass and highs. Each of the transformers is housed in a metal can filled with epoxy. Two independent chokes are employed for rectifier filtering on each channel. Just as important, the military grade epoxy circuit boards are designed to minimize component interaction. In addition to that, each of the 300B triode tube has a separate bias adjustment device mounted on the rear panel for convenient biasing.

The World Most Powerful 300B amplifier:
Generating power from eight pieces, four matched pairs of 300B tubes per channel. Conservatively rated with an output voltage of 80 watts RMS. The Reference Two mono block amplifiers is capable to deliver high power wattages and still maintains the clarity and delicacy of real music. Anyone who listens to them never feels the need for more power, all they want to do is put on more music. Perhaps the Reference Two is the most powerful 300B amplifier in the world.

Special Features:

Newly designed high voltage power supply.

The input circuit has been redesigned to be faster and more dynamic.

Exclusive machined Delrin 300B tube sockets with gold plated pin receptacles.

Specially designed power meter with a custom backlit LED display.

Specifications:
Rated Power Output: 80 Watts RMS
Input Sensitivity: 0.53 Volts for full output
Input Impedance: 470,000 Ohms
Frequency Response: +/- 1 dB from 8 Hz to 80,000 Hz
Total Harmonic Distortion: 10W output:

Doug is this a good match with O/96?

If you can get past the price (25k) I think they would be a nice match for the O's. Steve says it best... However, if you are thinking about Shindo there are other models that should be considered as well. The Cortese is a sweet 10w SET and if you need more power the Haut-Brion is nice at 25w. Of course the entry level (if that actually applies to Shindo) Montille 6V6 with its 15w would work too. With so many choices how do you pick one, and then there's the preamps!

id say these were built for 096's!!! 18w of gorgeousness!!!

im sure i can find most of these amps to hear in ny. but thats several days of hustling around and lots of research to find who has what and where. but i need to do it cause although these carys i consider temporary. the next amp purchase i make will be a permanent one, and i want to be sure i love it.
sooooo finding the best 300b's that appeal to me and a big CAT jl2 stereo amp for the magico s3's and im done. LMAO!!!!!

So much company coming from Korea , Japan and China on tube gears. Wow.

I love their gears Paul! I always chuckle how the European companies are trying to outdo one another with "who has higher resolution than Soulution"....and then you walk into the Kondo room or the Triode Corp room or the LA Audio room and just melt!
