2015 System Upgrades

Thanks Kev. I totally understood the intent.

The Strads do it for me like no other speaker can. I know the MC2301 are not "state of the art" but I'd gladly give up "perfection" for the musicality and emotional connection I get from certain gear. For all I know, the probably $100K vinyl front end is what gave me the goosebumps I was feeling and the McIntosh/Strad combo was just delivering the goods. I don't want to even think that's the case :)

You already know the answer to the question Joe. Kinda like having to go into your spouses phone to see if they are cheating. If you've gone that far, you already know the answer. :)

I am looking into preamps as the next move which will feed my 219IA integrated which can be used as a dual mono power amp.

The new Line Magnetic 512CA at around $10,000 is one consideration

And the Audio Note M6 preamp

Also the old school Western Electric remake by Line Magnetic holds appeal depending on the price and whether the voltage can be easily changed from Asia/Europe to North America as it is with the AN's worldwide transformers. The dealer here didn't quite know for sure.

La, la, la, la, la, I can't hear you.

I am not replacing my ART amps, just adding to them and I just need to hook up my TT :) even though it's not as expensive as the one I heard.

Oh I was referring to the analog front end Joe, not the cjs.
