Lisa Marie Presley – Storm & Grace - my signed copy when I saw her live 10 years ago. excellent album produced by T Bone Burnett.

passed away today @ age 54 - far too young. RIP Lisa Marie and say hi to dad for all of us.

Pardon if someone posted this already.

Shapes & Sounds by Kirsten Edkins
This is on the Cohearent label, if fact, Kevin Gray's first title on his label in an all valve recording studio.

There's a bunch of info on this studio and album on YouTube

A few of us was at a friend's listening to his system, this LP was placed on the table, the concensus was that the good aspects of tubes did seem to shine through on the recording. Kirsten plays sax and the music is nice, reviews call it "accessible", LOL It's acoustic Jazz.

Yes, I have it. It’s good, but far from memorable.

the sound (on the Kirsten Edkins Lp) is outstanding, the music is solid and enjoyable but not epic. but a great demo pressing for what all analog modern recordings can sound like when done right. but the performance is just competent.

glad i own it if just to promote Kevin Grey doing more of these. we need to support all analog current recordings when we can.
