I looked into buying their remaster of Dan Folgleberg's debut album but the reviews are mixed with some saying it is spectacular a mn d others saying it sound flat and dull compared to the original. That is enough to discourage me from buying it on vinyl.

Frank Van Altsine and AVAHiFi were fabulous to deal with. It did not matter if you bought gear new or used. He would repair it for you and he would sell your old AVA gear. He for the most part was really nice to customers until his last year. I heard he could be a little cranky.
