Genesis Speakers

I have been curious on this. Is this the same (only updated) company as the old Genesis brand from back in the day (1980's, 1990's)? We used to sell a ton of them. The only issue back then is people used to pop tweeters quite often. We always keep several on hand and they were a breeze to switch out.

They were quite popular back then. Nice sounding mid-range speakers at the time.

Therefore, again, is this an evolution of the same company or something completely differenet?

They are new speakers under the old Genesis name. I loved Genesis back in the 70's. I was saving for a pair of Genesis Model 2's for my first system. I ended up with a pair of Altec Lansing Model 3's as they were cheaper. I did not have enough money after buying a JVC TT and Pioneer Receiver.
