    The reasoning for Class D was simple. I went to move my Musical Fidelity 800 and found out due to a leg injury I could literally no longer lift it. Same with going to bookshelf speakers. The Spendor D9’s were too much to move around. So now I have a manageable system that sounds very satisfactory.

    VAC preamp tubes roll

    Do not own a Statement but do own a Renaissance MkV and swapped out the Electro Harmonix 6922’s for some Reflektor 6N23P Silver Shield’s. For sure an improvement.
