I had the opportunity to visit with George (audioseduction) today.

George is running the fabulous Pass XA160.5's with the XP20 preamp, Bel Canto DAC, a dedicated PC, TaraLabs cabling and Martin Logan Summit X speakers.

From the first note it was clear that George has mastered his pursuit of black black backgrounds. His system is DEAD quiet. Music just appears out of this black space.

George has also done a terrific job with a difficult room. His treatments really have nullified any negative room affects.

George really has his ML's dialed in and the pairing with Pass is truly excellent - the best I've heard ML's sound.

We listened to a wide variety of music and his system really performed brilliantly. A real treat!

Thanks for a fun afternoon George!

Beautiful system, George. Nicely done! The XA-160.5's are one of my all-time favorite amps. Looks like you guys had a great time.

Hey Mike - did you get a signed copy of the playlist?

I've heard George's system many times - it's a great sounding reference system! :)

I heard George's system when he hosted an audiophile meeting one month. I was beyond impressed. The bass output he gets is staggering. I hope to one day visit again, and get another listen......without the distractions of several folks chatting in the room. His choice of the Bel Canto digital is very interesting as well. This system performs well beyond many higher priced rigs. Kudos for sure.

Jerry-

Well said Jerry. One of my takeaways was just how hard George has worked on achieving the blackest backgrounds.

It was a real treat to listen to George's creation.George is also a really good friend. He gives freely of his expertise to fellow SAS club members .When i hosted SAS, I had problems with a sever.George spent allot of time helping me get things up and running. The are several stories, of him helping other members of the club also.
This hobby is great , and people like George have made it a whole lot better.

Francis, thanks for the kind words. I also enjoyed listening to your system at the SAS meet you hosted last year.
