Re: Gryphon Audio Apex Stereo
Give Gryphon credit for the clever packaging to facilitate installation. Otherwise I don’t think you could fit a forklift into that room.

Re: Gryphon Audio Apex Stereo
Please share what you hear, once broken in, when you move the bias between L, M, and H. And how does it differ with speakers of different efficiency?

Re: Gryphon Audio Apex Stereo
For those familair with Gryphon Antileon and Mephisto, the Apex sounds even more like a Mephisto - even more dynamic, more resolution etc. Not a romantic sounding amp by any means.
A friend of mine had one at home with the new preamp.Adam
Speakers: Magico M3
Amp: Dagostino Momentum Stereo
Digital: Lampi Pacific + Lampi DSD Komputer
Cables: AQ WEL Signature IC / Synergistic Research Foundation / AQ Hurricane PCs

Re: Gryphon Audio Apex Stereo
Elberoth,
Wasn’t clear to me from your post if you listened to the Apex. Respect your opinion and I think you previously posted that you would love to have the AE (my amp). I haven’t heard the Mephisto and the Apex is way, way out of my reach (am still saving to upgrade my Magico S3s to the Kharmas). Would love to hear more of your (or your friend’s) thoughts on the Apex.Digital: Innuos Zenith Mk3 Server + MSB Premier DAC with Powerbase
Amp: Gryphon Pandora + Gryphon Antileon Evo Stereo
Speakers: Magico S3 MkII
Cables: MIT SL-Matrix 36 XLR interconnect cables + 70 speaker cables; AQ Diamond & Vodka ethernet cables
Power: AQ Niagara 5000 + AQ Tornado power cables
Headphones (travel): Sennheiser Momentum + Chord Mojo
