Just listened to the Nils piece on Jay’s system. I’m not a fan of making judgment calls on recordings played via YouTube on a portable device but I must admit, the XLFs appear to be working very well in his room.

I suggest that you all watch the video a few hours later. Yes , i got confirmation that the sound will keep improving about an hour or two after because YouTube "stabilizes" the video during this time.
 
Congrats Jay, thanks for sharing & letting us all into your room. Just remember, every single person on here at one stage in time did not even know what the difference was between positive & negative. Some still don't...
 
Thanks for the last posts. It's hard to do what i do with gear of this caliber. You got the fan boys of affordable audio walking around with machetes looking to chop my head off and then you got the fan boys of particular name brands that get angry and take high blood pressure medication for as long as I am owning a product they hate but once i have a product they love then they cancel their medication refill.
It's the nature of doing social media. Not much that one man (me in this case) can do about it.
 
That's precisely what makes it so entertaining, all the elements on an audiophile drama. While you're having fun!

The truth is I am probably never going to meet in person most people who post or live on forums. If anything, it will be a lot of my YouTube followers who know about me because of YouTube and not forums.

Just keep being yourself. A lot of us are not in either of those camps, we really enjoy following your journey. Personally, I love your live chats and getting your off the cuff comments... You can be pretty funny sometimes!
