My shelving units finally arrived last week and I set them up over the weekend. We tried a couple of different positions with them and ended up here, for now. I need to get a couple longer cables for my Mac Mini and Blu-ray player but I like the set-up as it is. I also need to get a small light to put in with the turntable so I can see in there better. The cabinets are pretty sturdy and stable so foot traffic isn't a problem.It's always hard trying to imagine what something will look like in your space from a catalog, but we're very happy with how it turned out. Sorry for the fuzzy pics, there isn't much light in the room this time of night.

Thanks Allen. It's a large room but is still very cozy. It must be all the heat from the 845's! :D
 
Doug...looking real nice!! I love me some DeVore speakers with tubes. By the way, in terms of a light for the table, call Jeff and order the LittLite from him. You can order it with a base stand or a clip that can attach to a sshelf which should work just fine in your set up: Littlite - 18 inch Gooseneck Lamp-Audio Advisor. I couldn't find it on his website but I got mine from him.
 
Thanks for the info. Cyril. I'm going into town tomorrow to look at a light that is battery powered. I'm hoping it will do the trick and I won't need to plug it in. I'm working on figuring out a hum between my amp and TV right now. If it doesn't look like it will do the trick Jeff will be hearing from me.
 
I forgot to mention my next upgrade. When everything was put into place my wife said the only thing that doesn't work are the speakers. Apparently they need to be black, or a darker color. Now I don't know about you guys, but to me that sounds like the go-ahead on a new pair of speakers! Perhaps the new Devore Gibbon 88's with the Mink finish...:skeptical:
