I know sometimes it is difficult to locate and audition some of the finer gear out there. As a Vitus dealer - just wanted to make aware that we have in stock - available to audition many Vitus models including:

SL-103 Pre amplifier
SS-103 Stereo amplifier
SP-103 Phono Pre amplfier

RI-101 Integrated amplifier with built in streamer / DAC
SIA-025 Integrated amplifier
SIA-030 Integrated amplifier

SCD-025 DAC / Transport
MP-D201 DAC / Pre-amplfier

We are pairing Vitus with the amazing Alsyvox Botticelli X planar speakers in our San Clemente California listening room.

For those located on the West Coast, we encourage in home demo's.

Cake Audio is a dealer for: Vitus, Alsyvox, Purist Audio, SRA, Kuzma, Dynavector

For quite some time, Vitus didn’t have much/any US distribution. Many of us, including myself, sold SIA-025’s to purchase the promised SIA-030. It never showed up. To make matters worse, the new distributor dropped mostly all the east coast dealers. In my belief, to stop any discounting. So, if you had a relationship with a Vitus dealer, that was over, you didn’t have an amp, and if you wanted an SIA-030, which was delayed for YEARS, you had to pay full list price. Most consumers have moved on. They may make good products, but they certainly aren’t consumer friendly business people. I believe Cake Audio is , or is connected with the distributor.. I’m very confused why Vitus didn’t choose a far more experienced distributor with an extensive dealer network..... If I had to guess, I would wager there are less than 10 stocked dealers in the entire country... You can have the best product in the world, but if you don’t know how to sell it....

So here is a dealer trying to get the word out there about new products by Vitus and we have Penthouse come on the thread and dump all over it due to his long simmering frustration with the delay in the release of the SIA 30!!
Sure does not seem fair to the dealer (I am not biased one way or the other as I do not own any Vitus audio product)

if i remember right....not long ago the new us distributor has said he is on the way to build up a new dealer network. at that time there were only about 3 dealers. so if there are already 10 now, i think the story is on a good way. very especially since he claimed to work with quality dealers only.
most likely thats not where you get the most discount.

Vitus makes a great product and the distributor is a quality guy. If I didn’t have Gryphon, I would have Vitus. And remember, Vitus comes with the biggest fan boy in the world: Bodhi!

thouse estelons:)
who knows in tha future, a couple more rooms, employees, brands and bodhi as well

I think my previous post sums it up. Promising release dates, only to be delayed for years, dropping most all previous dealers, to be replaced by almost no dealers , simply to sell for full list price only. Imagine if you needed service on a product when there were NO dealers and no U.S. distributor? I think when a manufacturer expects you to make a sizable investment in a brand, they owe it to the consumer to support the brand with a sales and service network...

yes, a vitus sia30 would probably be a nice upgrade from the t+a integrated and then to see it not coming as you were expecting, well, it cant make you happy. to gain a softer perspective it might help to understand that vitus is a very small company and it is up to the distributor to run the business in the countries. obviously the model of the earlier distributor didnt work.
you cant blame the new one to try it differently in his own way. i really won the impression he is trying to make a very good job.

Without hearing them side by side in the same system making the blanket assumption that a SIA30 would best the top T+A is quite a stretch. Why because it cost more.

U-sound, Thanks for the reply. Kindly read the posts more carefully. I was upgrading a VITUS SIA-025 to the SIA-030. To be frank, I think my T+A PA3100HV is head and shoulders better (For me) than the VITUS SIA-025 in every way....

Agreed. It was for me too. My only beef is that T+A raised their prices SO MUCH on the HV series in April 2019. And yes, I told the CEO of T+A in Germany when we sat down for a drink last May. He said their costs overall went way up. Oh well. $19k was better than $23,500 for sales for me. [emoji4]
