Kuzma Vs Acoustic Signature Vs AF Vs ???

I have an Acoustic Signature Ascona Mk 2. Great table. Better imo than a Clearaudio Master Innovation. Solid. Simple. Looks great. Great service and response direct from Gunther himself and Robert Hagemann, his international guy. Highly recommended.

No sure how the dealer/distributor situation is in the USA. But maybe J. Sikora, Reed Turntables or Pluto turntables might be a good addition.

in mike's signature i am seeing two new TT offerings -- that did not take long!!

...temptation abounds

;) :)

Good thing I added AF and Kuzma then!

I purchased my new Stabi Ref 2 during the same general period the Stabi R was being released. I'm going to venture to say this was 3 years ago. I have zero regrets, and enjoy the table very much! The Ref 313 VTA is a design engineering marvel...great sound, and easy to adjust and swap cartridges. I cheated by buying a spare head shell, and keeping one of my backup carts mounted on the spare. OK...here it comes...I can't help but wonder what a Stabi R and DC motor would have offered in comparison to the Stabi Ref. Just to be clear, the Stabi Ref is the suspended table that's been in the Kuzma line since the mid-late 90's. The "R" is their most recent release, a non-suspended design that price wise sits below the Stabi REF, but I think most consider it closer in design (and is more often compared) to the "M". I guess my feeling is the Ref 2 has become an outlier, and doesn't seem to get much attention anymore.
